Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

Drawing Room/Tannery Arts Unit 1b New Tannery Way 58 Grange Road Bermondsey London SE1 5WS
The main entrance to Drawing Room/Tannery Arts is on Grange Road, next to the white Alaska Building. Our building is behind a set of grey steel gates with entry through a pedestrian gate and we are the first building on the right. Access is also via Crimscott Street through a pedestrian gate.

Tube/Rail London Bridge station then 15 minute walk via Bermondsey Street. Jubilee line to Bermondsey station then 10 minute walk.
Car There is no parking on site, but plenty of paid street parking nearby. The closest paid street parking area to Drawing Room is Crimscott Street – you can pay for your parking by phone on 020 7005 0055, or by using the PayByPhone app. There are 4 Blue Badge disabled parking bays on Spa Road, 200-250m from the gallery.
Drawing Room’s membership programmes offer exciting and exclusive events, from behind-the-scenes collection visits and curatorial tours, to artist studio visits and artist-led walking tours.
Outset Study’s growing specialist reference library currently includes approximately 2,000 books and 70 journal titles on international contemporary drawing since the 1970s, and includes rare items not held in other major UK and Irish libraries.
