Find out more about Drawing Room, what we do, and our relationship with studio provider Tannery Arts.
Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.
Our flexible Community Studio and double-height, light-filled Gallery are available to hire – with special rates available for community organisations, Tannery Arts members, and fellow charities/non-profits. We are in the heart of Bermondsey, just a 15-minute walk from London Bridge station.

With integrated audio, ceiling-mounted projector, a flexible layout, and a blackboard wall to capture your creativity, our Community Studio offers a welcoming, “messy” space for workshops, meetings, presentations, away days, events, parties and book launches. All hirers will be expected to adhere to our Community Studio Hire Policy.
Our Studio hosts our year-round Learning and Community Programme. As a charity, income generated from all hires will support our activities, including our exhibitions.
“All the team were incredibly generous and accommodating and the space itself worked perfectly – lots of natural light, plenty of room and particularly special we got to explore the exhibition in the breaks. A brilliant space in Bermondsey.”—The Forward Institute
