Join Jon Link of Modern Toss for a visiting workshop based around their Guest Exhibition, hosted at Drawing Room.
Build your own life size fly. Over two hours approximately, guided by Jon, you’ll construct a fly from clay, wire, paint and hair, bending its little legs so it can stand unaided, painting the thorax black, attaching the wings at the correct angle, and hand-painting a pair of eyes with a pin. No previous making experience required, some of it’s a bit fiddly, but this foolproof system means you’ll walk away with a fully made fly in its own little box.
Places are limited to 20 and advance booking is essential.
An additional ticket will be required to see the exhibition, as the workshop does not include entry.
