Find out more about Drawing Room, what we do, and our relationship with studio provider Tannery Arts.
Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.
Following careful consideration in response to the COVID-19 situation, Drawing Room will remain closed to the public until further notice, in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our visitors, supporters and gallery team. In consultation with Hayward Gallery Touring, we have agreed to postpone our planned exhibition Not Without My Ghosts: The Artist As Medium.
We will be working on other ways of sharing our activities and engagement programme on our digital platforms – please continue to check the gallery website, Instagram and other social media feeds to stay connected to what's happening. We already have a wide range of video and audio resources on our website, including in-conversations and artists/curators' talks from our archive, that are freely available to watch and listen to.
Our office hours remain 10am–6pm, Monday–Friday, with staff working remotely, and we will endeavour to answer your enquiries as promptly as possible during this time. If you have booked a ticket to an event at Drawing Room or for any other information, please contact [email protected] Please visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus for advice on how to protect yourself and the more vulnerable within our community. We wish all our visitors and supporters the best of health and look forward to welcoming you to Drawing Room again soon.
