“I look for art that has a craft and an ability to move the soul. I have selected work that has a beautiful hand, that is drawn really well or draws something from me that when I look at it, it moves me. The  difficulty was I chose 48 pieces, narrowed down to 18, then 8, then back up to 10, then 8 ”  Kinder Aggugini talking about how he made his selection

Kinder Aggugini is an Italian fashion designer who came to London in mid 1980s. He studied at St Martins Art & Design. First working on Saville Row he went on to work for John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Paul Smith, before relocating overseas to design at some of the world’s most prestigious luxury houses, Versace, Calvin Klein and Costume National, as ghost designer. In 2008, Kinder stepped into the spotlight with his first own name collection – which was exclusively stocked at Dover Street Market. His interest is in fabrics- and his designs often use a dye-dipping technique that produces shadow and light on simple structured clothes.
