Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

About the artist:Wendy Anderson (b. 1961, Elgin, Scotland) lives and works in London. Anderson holds an MA in Fine Art from Birmingham Polytechnic (1983-84). She was artist in Residence at Field Institute, Hombroich Museum, Düsseldorf in 2002. Recent group exhibitions include 400 Women, Sugar City, Amsterdam (2012), The London Open Group, Cello Factory, London (2012), RCA Secrets, Royal College of Art, London (2010). Anderson’s paintings are held in a number of private and public collections including Arthur Anderson UK; British Land; The Economist and Warwickshire Museum.
