Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

The Andrew Project book is the culmination of an anonymous public art intervention by Shaan Syed. Carried out between 2010 and 2013, Syed fly-posted Toronto, Berlin and London with a portrait line drawing of a man, accompanied by the name Andrew. The book documents the graffiti and public interaction that resulted from the portraits appearing on the city streets. Including text and images by seven invited international artists and writers, a journalist and a branding consultant, The Andrew Project book questions ideas around urbanism and location; advertising, image and abstraction; absence versus presence, and the personal as it relates to the public.
Hardback, linen bound book with three colour foil-blocking on cover (160 x 230 mm), 176 pages with a set of 3 postcard inserts and an accompanying supplement (150 x 230 mm), 40 pages, self cover, saddle stitched, containing the artist and writer contributions. Edition of 750. Distributed by AnagramBooks.

The book launched in London in 2013 at the Zabludowicz Collection with a talk by Darian Leader and Stuart Cumberland; in Toronto at Scrap Metal Gallery with a talk by John Paul Ricco, and in Berlin with a performance by Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay, featuring Jeremy Wade.
