Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

Drawing Biennial 2017 offers insights into how artists contend with a world in rapid and disorienting flux. A snapshot of contemporary drawing practices, the exhibition includes 248 new and recent works on paper by leading international artists of different generations. Each work represents that artists’ endorsement of the distinctive and significant role that Drawing Room plays in today’s layered cultural landscape.
