As part of the evening, Michael Landy will speak about the importance of drawing to artists as well as his contributions to Drawing Room’s Biennial fundraiser over the years. Drawing Biennial 2019 comprises over 200 drawings and includes work by leading and emerging artists from around the globe. Contributors to the Biennial include Rana Begum, Ryan Gander, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Idris Khan, Michael Landy, Cornelia Parker, George Shaw, Raqib Shaw, Alison Wilding, Rose Wylie and many others. Culminating in an online auction in the exhibition’s final two weeks, all works are available to purchase from a starting bid of £300. Proceeds from the auction support Drawing Room’s exhibition, learning and publishing programme and growth of its unique study library.
