People’s Biennial

People’s Biennial is a space for you to get involved by creating your own drawing, on the same A4 paper used by the artists in the exhibition. You can look and think about the artworks on display in our Drawing Biennial 2026. To make your drawing, you can connect your own thoughts, feelings and experiences to the artworks on show, or just use this space to draw from your imagination.In an installation inspired by the artworks in Drawing Biennial 2026, our gallery walls are filling up with drawings using different materials, exploring different themes and responding to the exhibition in different ways.

Our People’s Biennial is open Wednesday – Sunday, 12–6pm for the duration of our Biennial – you’re welcome to come in, grab a piece of paper and some drawing materials and create your own Biennial artwork!
