Sunday 1st March Book in to one of two sessions: 12pm–1.45pm or 2.15pm–4pm Inspired by the work of artist Takesada Matsutani and the playful spirit of the Japanese Gutai artists, children, parents and carers are invited to drop in and experiment with materials: What happens when you blow liquid through a straw? Where does paint go when it drips and runs? Why draw on paper when you can step right through it? Children lead the way, explore freely, follow their ideas and shape how adults join in. Together, we’ll create a child-led magazine filled with your drawings, thoughts and creative experiments, which will be shared online after the event. Films about artist Matsutani’s work will play throughout the day. Presented in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth London, this session is a relaxed, creative space for local families to play, make and imagine together. ‘Takesda Matsutani. Shifting Boundaries’ is on view from 5 February – 18 April 2026 at Hauser & Wirth London. https://www.hauserwirth.com/hauser-wirth-exhibitions/takesada-matsutani-shifting-boundaries/ Plan your visit: https://www.hauserwirth.com/locations/10056-hauser-wirth-london/ ________________________________ Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks too!
