Join us for a fun and welcoming Sunday drop-in session for families!

This hands-on session is designed for caregivers and children of all ages to enjoy creating together.

Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks too!

Working with Folkestone based artist May Hands, families are invited to explore shapes and textures from nature using drawing and sculpture. The session begins with playful drawing using natural objects like shells, leaves and seed heads. Then, inspired by their drawings, families will build colourful three dimensional sculptures using raffia, wire, fabric and plants as they create nests, homes or shrines that show care and respect for nature. Younger children can enjoy colouring, twisting, threading and making patterns with natural materials.
