Drawing Club: Giulia Ricci

The workshop will focus on lines and grids; it will be a playful exploration of how these elements give origin to the patterns that are all around us and what happens when these structures are disrupted. The activity will include a range of materials and will feature a meditative and mindfulness element. Giulia will begin the evening with a short presentation on her references and work at 6.30pm.

We will also keep Emma McNally: The Earth is Knot Flat open slightly later than normal until 6.30pm, if you want to visit the exhibition before the class begins.

Giulia Ricci makes finely detailed geometrical abstract works using a variety of hand-made and digital processes and a diverse range of materials, primarily paper and ink, but also leather, wood, vinyl and paint; drawing underpins her practice across the various media.
