Drawing Acts Drawing Act VII Amanda Holiday 7 March 2024 – 20 April 2024 Back Drawing Act VII project unfolded with lead artist Amanda Holiday. She has been working with the Coin Street Over 50s group to unpack our current exhibition Time of Our Lives. Each week they have been visiting the gallery, followed by group discussion, and imaginative drawing and creative writing actives to bring their own words and images together. So far they have explored topics around ‘erasure’, ‘framing’ and have made creative responses to daily newspapers and women’s magazines! The words and images produced have been developed into a printed publication sharing the perspectives of those involved – on life experience, women’s issues and activism – alongside text by Amanda Holiday and selected poems.
