Drawing Room is moving to Elephant and Castle

Back

Drawing Room – the place to discover drawing – is delighted to announce its new home in a former garage repair workshop. A public gallery presenting exhibitions of drawing from around the globe, Drawing Room is open to all to view drawings, browse a unique library collection and meet artists through talks and practical workshops. Drawing Room is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation in recognition of its unique focus on drawing.

Drawing Room is free to visit and open six days per week –Tuesday to Sunday.

Our first exhibition will be A Slice through the World: Contemporary Artists’ Drawings, which opens on 13 June and runs until 5 August 2018. (Press release here). This is an international group exhibition in collaboration with Modern Art Oxford.

We are pleased to maintain our presence in the London Borough of Southwark which values our unique cultural contribution to the area. We look forward to welcoming   our regular visitors and new neighbours to the gallery.

Our move to this exciting new space is prior to a planned permanent relocation.
