Find out more about Drawing Room, what we do, and our relationship with studio provider Tannery Arts.
Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.
We are pleased to announce that Drawing Room will continue to receive funding as one of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations from 2023-26.This vital support will help us to deliver our ambitious exhibitions and events programme, as well as our Make & Learn activities with schools, families and local groups, from our new purpose-built space in Bermondsey from Spring 2023.
This funding announcement comes at a difficult time for the arts and we want to reiterate our belief in the important role culture plays in helping us understand ourselves, each other and the complex challenges facing our world; we are one part of a wide network of arts organisations throughout the capital and beyond that all play a part in fulfilling that role and rely on receiving public support to continue to do so.
