Top Picks of Drawing Biennial 2013 from Geoff Dyer and Sacha Craddock

On Wednesday 1 May at Drawing Room we were joined by author Geoff Dyer and freelance critic and curator Sacha Craddock.

They both talked us through their tops picks from Drawing Biennial 2013. Geoff picked Salvatore Arancio, Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, Simon Faithfull,Garrett Phelan, Peter Peri, and Haroon Mirza.

Sacha picked Roger Ackling, Jocelyn Clarke, Salvatore Arancio, Marion Coutts, Jess Flood-Paddock, Eric Bainbridge, Sarah Staton,Peter Peri and Alessandro Roma.

Sacha Craddock is a freelance critic and curator. Formerly Director of Programme at Max Wigram Gallery 2011- 2012. Sacha is Co-founder and curator of Bloomberg Space 2002- 2011, Chair of the Board of New Contemporaries from 1996 as well as Chair of the selection process for 17 years. She is also Chair of Braziers International Workshop and co-founder of ‘Artschool Palestine’ among other advisory positions.

Geoff Dyer is the author of novels: Paris Trance, The Search, The Colour of Memory, and, most recently, Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi; two collections of essays, Anglo-English Attitudes and Working the Room; and five genre-defying titles: But Beautiful, The Missing of the Somme, Out of Sheer Rage, Yoga For People Who Can’t Be Bothered To Do It and The Ongoing Moment. His most recent book is Zona, about Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Stalker.
