You are very welcome to bring your assistance animals to Drawing Room. We recognise an assistance animal as being a companion without whose support a visitor would not otherwise be able to attend.

Aside from events, our general visitation hours are fairly quiet. The quietest times to visit are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Due to the high ceilings, the reverb in the main gallery can be loud, especially when its busy and lots of people are talking. The library is always maintained as a quiet space. Ask staff if you need help finding a quieter space.
To make our building more comfortable, we have ear defenders available to borrow and a sensory rug for those wanting to sit on the floor.
Anyone with a disability attending a Drawing Room event is welcome to an extra ticket free of charge for a +1. For all events, we make sure to stick to the timings listed on the website event page, and where permitted by the event speakers, we stream/record all events so that they are accessible online for remote viewing.
We try to make all of our exhibitions and events as accessible as possible, but how we do this can vary. You’ll find specific accessibility information on individual pages for events and exhibitions.
Exhibitions in our galleries are free to everyone, Wed–Sun 12-6pm. The gallery is closed between exhibitions.
