Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

The Drawing Biennial 2024 catalogue is released alongside our celebrated exhibition and auction of almost 300 unique artworks which provides an invaluable snapshot of how artists are working with drawing today. This soft-back publication features every work in the exhibition, alongside an essay by Catherine Daunt, Hamish Parker Curator of Modern and Contemporary Graphic Art at the British Museum.
Every two years the Drawing Biennial proves to be a highlight in Drawing Room’s programme – a critically acclaimed exhibition showcasing around 300 drawings from some of the most interesting artists working across the globe today. This year’s Biennial is a vibrant pulse-check of contemporary drawing in 2024, as well as a vital fundraiser that provides Drawing Room with funding for the next two years of activity, supporting artists and our community through championing drawing.
