FIGURE/S: drawing after Bellmer will include works by modern, contemporary and manga artists to explore the wide ranging influence of drawings by Surrealist artist Hans Bellmer (1902-1975) on both high and popular culture.

Touching on the slippage between the virtual and the real, the fusion of body and machine and the disruption of gender binaries, the exhibition will include the work of Richard Hamilton, Kumi Machida, Huguette Caland and more, alongside that of Bellmer himself.
