As each Biennial builds on new collaborations developed with partners throughout the UK and abroad, our drawing family grows. This year’s Biennial includes many artists new both to Drawing Room and to the UK, introducing voices and reflections that together make up a multi-faceted perspective of this challenging moment in history. These carefully selected artists were invited to make an A4 size work on paper, using any method or medium. The generous donation of these works demonstrates Drawing Room’s important role in researching and presenting the significance and diversity of drawing across the globe today. Drawing Room is a charity that needs to raise 90% of funds required to support our exhibitions, unique drawing research library, learning and outreach activities. This exemplary exhibition makes a significant contribution to this target as a vital fundraiser.
