Novel

Tue 23 February 2016 : 6:30pm – 8:30pm

An exclusive event for our Network Members

To coincide with the launch of our new home we have invited the artist Georgina Starr to respond to ideas of the ‘novel’. Known for her work in performance, video and installation involving an amalgamation of fiction, dream and memory, writing has been at the core of all her work since the early 90's. She will introduce her text based book works and read from the draft of a novel she is currently writing. Starr’s work has been described in Artforum magazine as exploring "the imaginative self’s ability to make something magically complex, layered and densely referential out of virtually nothing but its own 'stuff'”

The evening will also include an introduction to the exhibition Pyramid Selling and the novels that inspire Mick Peter’s practice, followed by drinks and a chance to see our new building.
