Artists David Batchelor, Tania Kovats and David Musgrave talk about their relationship to drawing and the role it plays within their practices. All three artists will feature in Drawing Biennial 2013.
David Batchelor current and future exhibitions include 'Light Show', Hayward Gallery, London and a solo exhibition at The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. He is represented by Galeria Leme, São Paulo and Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh.
Tania Kovats is the editor of ‘The Drawing Book’– a survey of drawing: the primary means of expression’ and has a major new commission which will be shown as part of an exhibition at The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh in 2014.
David Musgrave recent exhibitions include 'Tracing the Century', Tate Liverpool ( touring to mima) and 'The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things' curated by Mark Leckey, Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool. He is represented by greengrassi, London, Luhring Augustine, New York and Marc Foxx, Los Angeles.
