  Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

Join us for a fun and welcoming Sunday drop-in session for families!

This hands-on session is designed for caregivers and children of all ages to enjoy creating together.

Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks too!

Join us for a vibrant family art workshop with Leonie Rousham where we’ll draw, collage, and cook up stories inspired by the incredible flavours of our neighbourhood! Together we’ll create bold posters and handmade recipe books using the Risograph printer!

Dig into Bermondsey’s rich food history with inspiration from local archives like The Peek Frean ‘Biscuit Box’ magazine, and help shape a chutney that captures the spirit of our community.

This workshop is part of a wider project led by Kneed (Ishwari Bhalerao and Leonie Rousham), building towards a community-made chutney and Riso-printed zine with the Drawing Room.

After the event, Families are encouraged to pop next door to our gallery to visit our free current exhibition The Land Sings Back
