ROCK PAPER SCISSORS Family Studio Giulia Ricci 1 February 2026, 12pm-1.45pm or 2.15pm-4pm Back Reserve Your Place DSC06762 Location Community Studio Join us for our next Family Studio event with Bermondsey-based artist Giulia Ricci, who will be transforming our space into a pop-up studio for the day. Sunday 2nd February Drop in to one of two sessions: 12pm-1.45pm or 2.15pm-4pm Children, parents, and carers are invited to take part in a hands-on creative workshop exploring the power of patterns, the rhythm of repetition, and the symbolism of dots and circles. Together, we’ll play with the balance between order and disruption, using simple shapes and tactile materials to spark curiosity and mindfulness. Giulia Ricci creates finely detailed geometric abstract works through a blend of hand-made and digital processes, working with materials like paper, ink, leather, wood, vinyl, and paint. Drawing is at the heart of her practice, which references textiles, tiles, bricks, and other everyday artifacts, bridging the decorative and the abstract. This hands-on session is designed for caregivers and children of all ages to enjoy creating together. Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks too!
