Event Drawing Act VII publication launch 20 Apr 2024 Back Location 1-2pm, Community Studio You are invited to join us from 1-2pm, Sat 20th April, for a soup lunch to celebrate the publication launch for Drawing Act VII, a project led by Amanda Holiday with Coin Street Over 50s Group. We have been enjoying seeing the Drawing Act VII project unfold with artist Amanda Holdiay. She has been working with Coin Street over 50s group to unpack our current exhibition Time of Our Lives. Each week they have been visiting the gallery, followed by group discussion, as well as imaginative drawing and creative writing actives, bringing words and images together. So far they have explored topics around ‘erasure’, ‘framing’ and have devised their own mantras and responses to daily newspapers. We look forward to seeing their words and images develop into a printed publication which will be launched to the public on 20th April! All welcome.
