Contemporary Drawings at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge

To complement New Rhythms ,an exhibition of the work of Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, drawings by ten contemporary artists can be found in the attic and ground floor of the Kettle's Yard House in Cambridge. They range from dynamic sketches to drawings from life, reflecting some of the subjects and approaches to be found in Henri Gaudier-Brzeska’s celebrated drawings. Artists include Charles Avery, Phyllida Barlow, Aleana Egan, Antony Gormley,  Thomas Houseago, Rachel Howard, Chantal Joffe, Nick Mauss, Daniel Silver, and Rachel Whiteread. Display curated by Drawing Room. 

– On Wednesday 10 June 6-8pm join Andrew Nairne, Director Kettle's Yard and Mary Doyle, Co-Director Drawing Room, for a discussion of Gaudier-Brzeska’s practice and how contemporary artists use drawing today.
