We’re now accepting applications for pitches at our Winter Makers Market! Whether you’re a printmaker, painter, ceramicist, jeweller, illustrator, textile artist, or creating something totally unique to sell this gifting season – we want to hear from you! Spaces are limited, and to ensure a diverse and exciting mix of vendors, all applicants will be reviewed by our team. Priority will be given to makers based in Bermondsey and Southwark. For questions, contact [email protected] FAQs Who can apply? Anyone who makes and sells handmade or independently designed items. We will be giving priority to makers who have a connection with Bermondsey and Southwark, but will also welcome those from elsewhere. How much does a pitch cost? Stalls are £50 and include a table measuring 120 x 60 cm. Can I share a pitch table with another maker? Yes! Just mention this in your application and tell us who you’ll be sharing with. What time is setup and pack down? Setup begins at 10am, and all stallholders must be packed down by 5pm. Is there parking? Sorry, there’s no dedicated parking. Will the market be well advertised? Yes – we’ll be promoting the Winter Makers Market via our newsletter, social media channels, local listings, and community networks. Do I need to bring my own display items? Yes. You’re welcome to bring any tablecloths, stands, props, or signage that fits within your stall space 120 x 60 cm. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing anything unusual that we might need to know about, or if you’d like to remove the table for a different setup within your allocated pitch. To take payments at a market using your phone, we recommend using apps like Square or PayPal Here with a mobile card reader for easy, secure credit card and contactless transactions. Please ensure to bring your own devices for this. How do I pay for my pitch? We will be in touch with a payment link closer to the time Is the pitch refundable? No, unfortunately once you’ve reserved your pitch, it is non-refundable. What is the price range for items? We recommend keeping items at an affordable price point to suit a wide audience.
