This recent panel discussion webinar hosted by The Arts Club with Drawing Room Founder-Directors, Mary Doyle and Kate Macfarlane, and Louisa Buck, Contemporary Art Correspondent for The Art Newspaper is now available to watch online.
'Drawing Room is a world-renowned non-profit institution that presents exhibitions of drawings from around the globe. Co-Founders Mary Doyle and Kate Macfarlane talk about their vision for the gallery, their twenty-year journey to create this unique institution and how the coronavirus pandemic has thrown a spotlight on drawing as an activity and as an art form accessible to all. For artists today, drawing is no longer supplementary or secondary, but valued as a stand-alone medium and process, and Drawing Room has been a substantial player in this changing status through its ambitious exhibitions, publications and participation programme.'
