About the work

I am a painter and maker of prints. My work is fed by drawing, poetry, theatre, opera, music, newspaper cuttings, and life in general. But it is drawing that is key to my practice.

Drawings brand a memory into the brain so that, even many years later, they can re-conjure a place, smell the time, a conversation, the experience of re-living being on Earth.

They are my own notations of love and loss, and my testament of what it’s like to be a human.
