About the work

This work is one of a series of recent plant and flower studies, building on the artist’s solo show at WIELS in 2023, entitled: Night in the Garden of Love. These studies delve further into the realm of plants, flowers, seeds, trees and gardens as both real and metaphorical spaces, from which the artist is currently developing new bodies of work in painting, sculpture, ceramic and textile as well as digital media.
