The memories of Moya Hills in Aomori came alive as I was drawing. Thinking of the mountains in Aomori, the forest, the mist and the rains … The residency was in a forest in an interesting building built by Tadao Ando. This was a very special time for me. Date and country of birth 1964, IN Career Highlights Manisha Parekh lives and works in New Delhi. She holds an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art in London (1991-93) and the M.S. University in Baroda (1983-1990). She has had many solo exhibitions held across the world, most recently at Nature Morte Gallery last year. Her other gallery she exhibits with is Jhaveri Contemporary in Mumbai. Her work is part of public and private art collections in India and abroad, including the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi; Royal College of Art, London; Davey & Chester Herwitz Collection, Boston; Heinrich-Boll-Stiftung, Cologne; and Robert Lodar Collection, London.
