Louise Hopkins Haze Luxe Year 2023 Medium Pencil, pen, acrylic, and correction fluid on graph paper Dimensions 29.7 x 20.7 cm Top pick Selected by Cornelia Parker, artist About the work Haze Luxe is one of a series of drawings on graph paper. The drawing is all about the mechanically printed grid – I love finding things in there – rhythms, networks, the over-controller, the measurer of time and space. For many years I made drawings strictly within the bare bones of the grid, but something burst open – the winter branch before the leaf, then the foliated tree.
