About the work

Belonging to a larger series of works on paper featuring photographic and drawn images, paint, and thread, “If I circle the circle a lot” is part of a diary-like  body of work that uses the page as an expanse to cross. The page serves as both a sub layer for making marks and a facade to pierce through. By stitching thread onto it, the drawing becomes both a map and an object recording the history of its marks.

Date and country of birth
