About the work

I always make drawings when I am trying to figure out a sculpture, if I can make the installation happen on paper then I know it can come alive in clay. This drawing was made to explain my idea to Sid Motion and Fatoş Üstek, the idea being two ducks looking at an egg which was halved or whole depending on where you were standing. The drawing became The debate a large ceramic installation shown in The Regent’s Park for Frieze Sculpture 2024.
