About the artist

Born 1956 Baden, Silvia Baechli lives and works in Basel. Graduated from Schule für Gestaltung Basel and Ecole superieur d'art visuel, Geneva (1980).

For Baechli drawing is experimenting, groping one's way and playing. In the best case you discover something that is a better fit and is more surprising than what you had expected.
