A robin in your house means you need to rethink your relationship. It may be that most problems in your relationship may be solved with love and kindness, but if you believe something is not right, then it may be so and it is time to leave that relationship. Never try to keep a robin inside your home, especially if it wants to leave. About the artist

Born Farnham 1980, Juliette Blightman lives and works in Berlin. Graduated from MA Fine Art at UAL Byam Shaw at Central St Martins (2007); and BA Fine Art at Byam Shaw School of Art (2004).

Since 2005 Blightman has been making portraits, whether they are of someone’s toilet, someone’s face or of her own daughter. Blightman’s methods of research draw on her experience as an artist and emerge as a response to the lived experience, whilst investigating the boundaries of physical and mental space, creative production, and gender. She is particularly fascinated by the inside/outside and the ambiguity between what is a private experience and what is made public.
