Graduated with an MFA from Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow (1997) and a BA in Environmental Art, Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow (1990). Boyce unveiled a major commission, Remembered Skies, at Tate Britain, London (2017) and represented Scotland at the Venice Biennale with the exhibition No Reflections (2009). Awards include the Turner Prize (2011) and the Hamlyn Foundation Award (2004).
