About the work

Williams’ work is often fantastical, surreal and humorous – telling the idiosyncratic and everyday narratives of people’s lives. Architecture bolsters much of this work that spans a variety of media, including performance, video, sculpture and installation.

About the artist

Bedwyr Williams (b. 1974, St Asaph) lives and works in North Wales. Graduated from Ateliers Arnhem, The Netherlands (1999); and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London (1997). Williams was shortlisted for the Artes Mundi Prize (2016); and represented Wales at the 55th International Art Exhibition, La Beinnale di Venezia, Venice (2013).
