This drawing is from 2013. It is a sketch of a detail of the roof of a micro house, built in a bell tower in Frankfurt that people can stay in for free. (A public art commission for Weißfrauenkirche in the Bahnhofsviertel).

About the artist

Andrea Büttner (b.1972, Stuttgart) lives and works in London and Berlin. Graduated from Royal College of Art, London (2010); Humboldt University Berlin, Berlin (2003); and Meisterschülerin, Berlin (2000). Awards include the Max Mara Art Prize for Women in Collaboration with the Whitechapel Gallery, London (2010); and the British Institution Award, London (2005).
