About the artist

César Gabler (b. 1970, Santiago, Chile). Studied for his Bachelors degree in Art with a major in painting from the Universidad Católica de Chile, and Masters in Visual Arts from the Universidad de Chile. He is a teacher at the Colegio Monte Tabor y Nazaret Finis Terrae University Universidad Católica de Chile UNIACC Universidad del Desarrollo. Select solo exhibitions include La Última Ópera Rock, Sala Gasco, Santiago (2015); La Catedral del Mañana Espacio H, Santiago (2013); Otras canciones, Galería Moro, Santiago (2010); and Fuera de Aquí, Galería Gabriela Mistral, Santiago (2008). Gabler has written texts for artists such as Leonardo Portus, Beatrice de Girolamo, Rodrigo Salinas, Claudia Gacitúa, and  Nicolás Franco.  Since 2011 he has been writing for the cultural magazine La Panera, and has run the television programme “¿Los Artistas No Saben Hablar?” in ARTV since 2015.
