Chiandetti completed his MA at Chelsea College of Art in 2007 and studied with artists Ai Wei Wei and Fluxus artist Geoff Hendricks. He works across a broad variety of media, primarily in sculpture and performance with an attention to the performative actions of the body. In 2010 Chiandetti became a fellow at Chelsea College of Art, and has participated in residencies at Gertrude Contemporary, Melbourne and Campo de Guitterez Medellin, Colombia. Recents shows include Goodman Gallery, Cape Town; Ancient and Modern, London; Utopian Slumps, Melbourne; and Swiss Institute, Rome.
