About the artist

Rodrigo Garcia Dutra (b.1981, Rio de Janeiro) lives and works between São Paulo and London. He holds an MA Fine Art from Byam Shaw, Central Saint Martin's School of Art and Design, London (2009) and an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London (2014). His awards include Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, Programa Brasil Arte Contemporanea and Lismore Castle Scholarship. Recent exhibitions he has participated in include Tomorrow: London, South London Gallery, London (2014); Histórias Mestiças, Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo (2014); Open Cube, White Cube, London (2013) and a solo show Abstract Ground, Marian Cramer Projects, Amsterdam (2014).
