About the artist

Luca Frei (b. 1976, Lugano, Switzerland) lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. Frei studied at the Edinburgh College of Art from 1997-2000, at the Yale University School Of Art in 1999 and at the Malmö Art Academy from 2000-2002. His work has featured in a number of exhibitions internationally, including: 31st Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, Slovenia (2015), Attempts 1-10, abc – art berlin contemporary, Galerie Barbara Wien, Berlin (2015), l’Economia della Forma, Studio Dabbeni, Lugano, Switzerland (2014), Thursday followed Wednesday and Tuesday followed Monday and there was Sunday and there was Saturday and there was Friday, Kunsthaus Glarus, Switzerland (2013) and LC in the Bijlmer, Capacete, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2013).
