The Autumn term of ROCK PAPER SCISSORS invited children to work alongside Eleanor Bedlow, whose own work explores children’s interpretation of objects and place. She led the afterschool club through a variety of playful processes that transformed two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional paper forms.
Eleanor Bedlow studied drawing at The Prince’s Drawing School (2008) and completed the studio painting programme at the Turps Art School (2018). She creates sculptural play areas of precarious mixed media artworks. Her drawings and sculptures inform each other, creating a collection of inanimate anthropomorphic forms.
