Tannery Arts is a small, independent charity concerned with supporting the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios, promoting their practice through opportunities to exhibit work, develop projects, generate partnerships with local authorities, private property owners and social housing organisations as well as engage in learning activities.

Each weekly PDF will share drawing activities that you can do at home, specially devised by our collaborating artists. Building on the fun and experimental approaches to drawing developed during our recent projects with primary aged children, these sheets will allow these activities to continue during this period of isolation and school closures. Available for anyone to access on our website, with new resources added each week, everyone who takes part can submit their drawings to be included in an online exhibition, created from all the submissions we gather through this project.
'Drawing Films with Jake Garfield' is first up in our series, available on our website now. As Jake describes, ‘I love drawing the glowing screen in the dark. It helps my imagination run wild and can be like entering a dream-world!'.
