Layla Curtis:

Born 1975 UK, Layla Curtis lives and works in London. Graduated from Edinburgh College of Art (1998) and Chelsea College of Art (2000).

Curtis' work is held in public and private collections including Tate Collection, London; Tyne and Wear Museums, Newcastle upon Tyne; The New Art Gallery Walsall, Walsall; University of Warwick, Coventry; and The United Kingdom Government Art Collection. 

Selected solo exhibitions include Heatscapes, Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle (2015); Antipodes, Spacex, Exeter and Phoenix, Leicester (2013); Tong Tana, Matt’s Gallery, London (2012); Polar Wandering, Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast (2008); The New Art Gallery Walsall (2006); Gimpel Fils, London (2006); and Milton Keynes Gallery (2000).
