Paul Noble (b. 1963, Northumberland, UK) lives and works in London. Studied at Sunderland Polytechnic and Humberside College of Higher Education. His work engages with the invention of new worlds and territories that lie between despair and hilarity. Noble was one of the founding members of City Racing (1988-89), an artist run-space in London. He was nominated for the Turner Prize (2012), and received Paul Hamlyn Award (2000).
