John Timberlake (b. 1967, Lancashire) lives and works in London. Timberlake studied at Brighton Polytechnic, the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program and Goldsmiths College London, where he completed his PhD in Fine Art in 2012. Recent solo exhibitions include: We Are History, (a Beaconsfield Commission) Beaconsfield, London (2014); Paysages conçus pour les drones, Galerie des petits carreaux, Paris (2014); and After London (a collaboration with the art historian Joy Sleeman) at Stephen Lawrence Gallery, Greenwich, 2011).
