João Penalva:

João Penalva (b. 1949, Lisbon) lives and works in London. Graduated from the Chelsea School of Art, London (1981). Awards include the Bryan Robertson Trust Award, London (2009); and Sciart Research Award, London (2000). Residencies include the DAAD Berlin Artist’s Residency (2003).
